Authors & Illustrators Night is a marquee event at Lowell Elementary School, funded by PTA donations and facilitated by the hard work of PTA volunteers. This year's event is a product of the hard work of Lowell Parent and Event Chair Lisa Johnston Hancock.

Joey Spiotto is a New York Times Bestselling Author and Illustrator of hit books such as Little Troublemaker Makes a Mess, Grumpy Unicorn Hit’s the Road, Alien Next Door and more. After graduating from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Joey pursued a career as a concept artist in both film and video games where he worked on such projects like “The Polar Express” for Warner Bros. “Dead Space” and “The Sims” at Electronic Arts and more.
